1. The Service

Flatmate is a platform designed to help roommates coordinate household tasks, rotate chores, record shared expenses, and simplify balances. Flatmate is not a bank, money transmitter, or financial institution. Any financial settlements or reimbursements are strictly between you and your household members.

2. Accounts and Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You agree to provide accurate registration information and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to harass other roommates.
• Upload malicious code, invalid receipt files, or interfere with service infrastructure.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract source code from our mobile or web apps.

4. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

Flatmate offers free core features as well as optional "Flatmate Premium" subscriptions. Subscriptions purchased through Google Play are managed by Google Play and RevenueCat, and are billed on a recurring basis until canceled in your Google Play subscription settings.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kineto Soft disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Kineto Soft or its operators be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Service or household disputes arising between flatmates.
