Flatmate

Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-07-21

These Terms govern your use of Flatmate (the "app"), operated by Kineto Soft (Ugur Akcelik), Turin, Italy — VAT IT12938420010. By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What Flatmate does

Flatmate helps people who share a home coordinate tasks (with automatic, fair rotation) and split shared expenses (with an approve/reject flow and settlement tracking). Content you and your flatmates add — tasks, completions, expenses, splits, payments — is shared with the other members of any household you join, by design.

Accounts

Household content & your flatmates

A household's members can see and, depending on the feature, edit shared data (tasks, expenses, splits, join code). Flatmate is not a party to any agreement between flatmates about who owes what — it's a bookkeeping tool. Disputes about actual payment between household members are between you and your flatmates.

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, or that we reasonably believe is being used to abuse the service.

Disclaimer of warranty

Flatmate is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited under EU or Italian consumer-protection law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we'll make reasonable efforts to notify you in-app. Continuing to use Flatmate after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
